My GPS is relatively spot-on for travel time predictions.

However, she fails to take into account the fact that there are drivers out there that either never learned the freezing point of water, or just drive ten miles per hour under the speed limit as a matter of course.

...As well as those that have their eyes glued to their damn phones at stop lights.

To those guilty of the latter, I assure you: you're not that important. What you're texting about or posting about can wait until you get where you're going.

On a side note...

I've taken to heavily scrutizing the dates on email chains at work to help identify where the problem lies with folks' time management here.

This morning's offender: a request was made yesterday afternoon surrounding an email that the requester had received early Monday morning.
