So I've got CoPilot at work now.

Though I'm hard-pressed to figure out an appropriate use case.

If you recall, my work flow is

As a [person]
I want to [action]
So I can [goal]

And

Given a [person]
When [action]
Then [result]

It's not remotely time-consuming, and as a matter of fact: the amount of time it would take for the LLM to generate its response, I'm already done and bored.

Maybe if I were a developer, I'd have a use for that CoPilot, but...

I dunno.

I'm not a fan of scaffolding when writing stuff out because I end up deleting more than I keep, and that's just lost time.

In other news: successfully punted a project to which I was assigned over to the database folk for their part of it.

Which boss man now knows, and you'd think it'd be sufficient to keep him from coming back to me for updates.

Except I already know that it'll still be my job to harass the database folk for updates.

Which isn't optimal.

Process recommendation: Require the adults to be fucking adults.

You finish a job, you inform those that requested the job that it's finished.

But...

Nope.

Oh, and yesterday's Nightmare Gaggle™?

"On a different note, [Nightmare Gaggle™] kicks off in six minutes," fwend said.

"Why bother? Those fuckers will just say they've got nothing to say anyway. And just stare at each other," boss man replied. "Did any of them hear me?"

"I heard you," I said.

"Tell me a good joke, and I'll cancel the meeting."

So I went over and told a very dark, morbid, juvenile joke.

Which didn't land well, because everyone at the table has kids.

And somehow, despite the constantly raunchy shit that comes out of his mouth, boss man draws the line at hypothetical babies.

But, cube neighbor managed to get us out of it with a much more family-friendly Dad Joke.

But none of us in this row thinks he canceled it.

Instead, we're under the firm impression that he's decided to just postpone it.

Until Suze gets back.

...And I won't be here.

Because getting fucking hammered and playing Ghost of Yotei.
